Today is December 31, 2024, which means we survived the year!

If i had to describe this year in one word, it would be "Chaotic". If you told me half the shizz that happened this year would happen last year, i'd think you were a schizo...

I Posted 54 songs this year, way more than last year... In total, i got ~20,000 listens this year... Which now that im writing it down, it kinda blows my mind... my songs were played 20,000 times by strangers in one year... Crazy

My new year's resolution was to stop getting so giddy whenever a major weather event happened, and i did pretty good actually, especially after september.

My resolution for 2025 is to finish all my 2nd chapter songs, when i was younger i always wanted to make a video game soundtrack, and now that i actually have to facilities to do it, i'm excited to do so.

The average Score of my songs this year was around 4.25 / 5, which is better than i thought going into the year... I remember when my stuff would average like 1 star lmao

Out of all the songs i made this year, The Most Listened Too one is:

This makes since to me since it was the first song i made in 2024 that got frontpaged. In addition, the song is at least teeny bit catchy.

Now this, makes no sense to me, i thought this was pretty mediocre when i posted it, I remember thinking "wow... i fell off" when i posted this song. To me, it's still pretty mediocre, but hey a random ng mod liked it enough to put it on the frontpages with all the other beautiful works of art (or i guess music).

Out of all the songs i made this year, the one i think is best is:

I just really like the lead and the middle part... I put alot of effort into this song, and i think it shows quite well

The reason I like this song so much is because it hits the vibe i was going for perfectly. I was going for a hot and stinky feel, and i think i did it perfectly. Also, the lead is pretty catchy (by my song's standards atleast). Fun fact, at 1:27 in the song, there's a mistake, but to me, it just makes the song better.

So that's all I have for 2024!

Overall, I'd say the year was good, but the year to me was defined by a few key moments. Whereas 2023 for me was a year for learning, 2024 was a year of chaos.
